The Mount Pleasant Business Association (MPBA) represents over 80 independent businesses. Its mission is to promote economic development of the Mount Pleasant Street commercial corridor while helping to preserve its diversity and neighborhood serving retail.

 

MPBA activities include coordinating promotional events, advocating on behalf of its members, and managing a tree box cleaning and graffiti removal program. It also sponsors annual events in Mount Pleasant including the Lamont Park Holiday Celebration, the Youth Art Fair with area schools in the spring and the Movies in the Park Series in the summer.
